<p>PURPOSE:To reset constant-speed run control when the turning angle of handlebars exceeds a specific value, control a motorcycle to a specific-speed run, and prevent danger by utilizing the fact that the turning angle of the handlebars exceeds the specific angle. CONSTITUTION:The speed sensor 1 of the constant-speed running device of the motorcycle detects the current running speed of the motorcycle and the output of the sensor 1 is inputted to an F/V converter 2. The converter 2 generates a voltage proportional to the number of input pulses, and its output is inputted to the uninverted input terminal of a comparator 5 and also applied to a speed storage capacitor 4 through a set switch 3. When this switch 3 is set, the output of the converter 2 is stored as a set speed in the capacitor 4. The operations of a detection switch 7 for the turning angle of handlebars and a brake switch 8 are detected by an OR circuit 9 and an FF18, and the output is applied to a relay 6. Then the comparator 5 compares the set value of the capacitor 4 with a voltage proportional to the current voltage during a run, and a motor 11 is brought to operate under constant-speed control based upon the comparison output.</p> |
