PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and durability of a sensitive body by incorporating a specified disazo pigment and polycarbonate Z resin into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A disazo pigment represented by formula I and polycarbonate Z resin represented by formula II are used in the photosensitive layer of an electrophotographic sensitive body. In the photosensitive layer, the pigment is dispersed in the resin. The photosensitive layer may be a separated function type photosensitive layer. By this structure, the sensitivity and durability of the sensitive body are improved. In formula I, each of R1 and R2 is H, halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy and A is a phenolic coupler residue.
