PURPOSE:To prevent the reliese of an automatic answering set switch from being forgotten by generating a notice tone when the automatic answering set switch is set to the automatic answering position. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic answering set switch 3 is thrown to the position of a telephone set 5, communication by using a conventional telephone set 5 is conducted, and when the switch 3 is thrown to the position of an automatic answering means 2, an automatic answering message is transmitted from the automatic answering means 2. When the switch 3 is thrown to the position of the automatic answring means 2, a notice tone comprising pulse tone is generated at each prescribed time from a speaker of a notice tone generating means 6. Thus, it is recognized easily that the switch 3 is through to the automatic answering means 2 by this notice tone when the inmate of the house is returned home from a visit thereby preventing the reliese of the automatic answering set switch 3 from being forgotten. |
