TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor with easy structure and assembling work and its production method. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor has a thermistor element 1 connected to a wiring pattern 2 and sealed in a mold body 3. The wiring pattern 2 is a metal frame combining a long and a short segments 2A and 2B and has a terminal part 4 for connecting the thermistor connecting the two ends of the thermistor element 1, terminal parts 5 for connecting an external circuit and a lead wire part 7. The long frame 2A has a L-shape plane and the short frame 2B is arranged facing with a certain interval on the bottom part of the L-shape of the long frame. The terminal part for connection of the thermistor element 1 consists of the L-shape bottom part of the long segment 2A and the short segment 2B facing to the part. The terminal parts 5 for connecting to the external circuit are the terminals of the two segments 2A and 2B. Between the terminal part 4 connecting the thermistor element 1 and the terminal part 5 connecting the external circuit, there is the lead wire part 7. A molding 3 is resin formed in a certain shape by sealing a part of the themistor element 1 and the wiring pattern 2.
