PURPOSE:To make a transmitter between processors unnecessary to perform easily the display processing of troubles or the like by accessing a shared memory from processors to display an input/output device, where a trouble or the like occurs, and processors. CONSTITUTION:If an input/output device 4i is faulty, a processor 1b detects it amd writes flag ''1'' in a prescribed position of a storage table in a shared memory 11 to store the trouble state. Further, the processor 1b starts a display device 12 as a means for reporting troubles or the like and indicates prescribed display information by flickering to report the occurrence of the trouble. Then, the operator depresses a display request command key for the trouble from a keyboard 17. For example, a processor 1a receives this display request signal and refers to the storage table to display trouble state information on a display device 16. Thus, the operator detects the input/output device, which is faulty, and the processor which detects this trouble.
