PURPOSE:To prevent the run-off of soil and sand by the flow of water by a method in which a highly absorptive substance is packed into water-permeable bags, and large numbers of bags are connected with ropes and placed on slope in such a way as to absorb water flowing down the slope. CONSTITUTION:A highly absorptive substance 3 is packed into a water-permeable bag 2 of cloth, woven fabric, etc., and large numbers of the bags 2 are connected at a given interval by connectors 4 to form a run-off preventor 1. The run-off preventer 1 rolled is delivered to a construction site, and laid over a slope. The bags 2 are fixed with skewers 3 and 8. Water flowing down the slope can thus be absorbed by the absorptive substance to prevent the run-off of soil and sand. |
