PURPOSE:To convert prescribed picture information into another sequential scan video signal by recording sequentially the picture information to a picture memory, reading out alternately an odd/even field at every line and with a prescribed clock rate and then discontinuing the reading by an amount equivalent to a prescribed line. CONSTITUTION:The intensity of a beam of a laser light source 1 is optical modulated 2 in response to the amplitude of a video signal 14 of a sequential scan. This beam is deflected horizontally by a main deflector 3 and then deflected minutely in the vertical direction by a secondary reflector 4. Then the deflected beam is focused on a film of a continuously driving camera 5. An interlacing scan input signal 13 is first stored 9 after A/D conversion 8, and the read-out signal is corrected by a movement detection correcting circuit 10 and undergoes D/A conversion 11. Thus the signal 14 is obtained. The product of the per-second frame number fF of the film and the scanning line number nF is set equal to he product of the frame number fT of a TV and the scanning line number nT. Then the odd/even fields are read out alternately every line from the memory 9 with a prescribed clock rate, and then the reading is discontinued by an amount equivalent to (nF-nT) lines. |
