The invention provides a semi- submersible marine platform comprising a) an above water deck (2), b) upright tubular buoyancy and support legs disposed (in plan view) at the apices of a polygon and extending from below water up into supporting engagement with the deck (2), c) a ring of horizontal base members (14) connecting the buoyancy support legs underwater and d) a stabiliser leg (11) outrigged symmetrically between each respective pair of adjacent buoyancy support legs and extending from underwater to project above mean water level. <IMAGE> |
