PURPOSE:To allow an information transmitting section to operate efficiently with less occupied space by forming various and diversified information transmitting functions as a unit in a ship and transmitting each information by an optical multiplex transmission means. CONSTITUTION:A transmission/receiving control section provided in a case 10 transmits/receives various information by means of the optical time division multiplex transmission system with an optical cable being an information transmission line. Picture and sound information is outputted at a CRT color display section 11 or a speaker 15 by the designation of a console section 14 and inboard telephone information is transmitted to a transmission section of an inboard telephone set 13. A keyboard 12, a digital clock module 16 and a receptacle 17 for power are provided and lots of information are obtained at a place in a cabin room by means of the multi-function device for passenger's quarters formed as a unit. |
