PURPOSE:To perform simply a hard copy while looking at a monitor display by carrying out the output control through an odd-even indication device so that the odd or even order signal of one side on a frame surface of a video signal is delivered to a signal output circuit and then giving the output control to the signal of the other side. CONSTITUTION:When a clock VDCK is set at an odd order position, new video clocks are delivered from an AND gate 28, an OR gate 25 and an AND gate 26 respectively. Such a new video clock has a frequency of 1/2 video clock of 40MHz delivered from an oscillator 3. Then the data given from a screen RAM 11 delivered from a video control part 2 is set to a video signal register 23 with an odd order video clock. As a result, only the odd order data is set to the register 23 for a screen frame at and after a prescribed time point. Then this data is sent to a hard copy device together with the new video clock and the odd-even dot frame discriminating signal.
