PURPOSE:To improve directivity by boring a large number of fine holes to a round bar and fixing the round bar to an atomic beam projecting section. CONSTITUTION:With an atomic-beam slit 1, holes 4 having a diameter of approx imately 1mm are bored to a cylinder 3 having a diameter such as approximate ly 50mm one and height such as approximately 30mm one first, and round bars consisting of aluminum, etc. in proper size are inserted into the holes previously. A material is elongated up to size of approximately 1/10 through extrusion, etc., and cut in proper length, and aluminum in holes 2 is melted with a solvent, thus acquiring slits. Accordingly, the material to which the holes are bored is extended gradually, and atomic-beam slits having a large number of fine holes are manufactured, thus obtaining precise rectilinear propa gation beams. |
