PURPOSE:To prevent temperature rise in a refrigeration hold by providing a covenient cover through winders provided at the opposite ends at the hatch opening removed of hatch cover and opening said cover only when passing a cargo while closing at other time. CONSTITUTION:A winder 4 having a convenient curtain cover 5 and a winder 3 for winding a string 7 connected to the leading edge of said cover 5 are provided while facing each other at the opposite ends of the hatch opening. When performing load/unload work, the hatch cover of the refrigeration hold is opened to cover the hatch opening with said cover 5. Only when passing a cargo through the hatch opening, both winders 3, 4 are operated to open said cover 5 while to close at other time. Consequently temperature rise in the refrigeration hold can be prevented.
