PURPOSE:To enable loading work of a wide and large carrier through an existing loading system having short reach, by providing a loading gate travelable in the longitudinal direction while traversing the right/left hatch rows while further providing longitudinal/lateral conveyors on the upper deck. CONSTITUTION:An loading gate 17 travelable in the longitudinal direction of hull is installed while traversing the right/left hatch rows 12, 13. A trolley 21, lifting/loading hoppers 22, 24, conveyors 25, 26 and shoot 27 are arranged through a trestle 18 and girders 19, 23. A longitudinal conveyor 16 is provided on the upper deck at the intermediate section of the hatch rows 12, 13 while furthermore a lateral conveyor is arranged. An unloader 2 having a body hopper 4, conveyor 5 and grab bucket 3 is arranged on the quay. Consequently loading work of wide bulk carrier is enabled even with short reach.
