PURPOSE:To always obtain a clear finder image by providing freely detachably with a variable power optical system which changes the focal distance range to an image pickup optical system and providing a means which changes a finder image of a finder optical system in interlocking with said detaching. CONSTITUTION:Extenders 21 and 22 are provided freely detachably between relay lens sections 4a and 4b of an image pickup optical system. Moreover, extenders 23 and 24 having the same magnification as the objective lens 6 of a finder optical system has are installed freely detachably to the back of the objective lens 6 in interlocking with to the extenders 21 and 22. Therefore, when the extenders 21-24 are simultaneously inserted into the optical path, the image of an object is enlarged by the extenders 21 and 22 and formed on the focal plane of an image pickup element 5. At the finder optical system, a finder image of a primary focussing plane P1 is enlarged to the same magnification as of the image pickup optical system by the extenders 23 and 24 and a finder image of a visual field which is the same as an actually photographed picture can be observed.
