PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a frame for a motor and to improve the external appearance of the frame by forming a heat sink fin of a metal plate, attaching the fin to the outer periphery of a frame body which is previously shaped in a cylindrical shape and projection welding it. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate is bent in a U-shape in section, and heat sink fins 6 which are projected outside at both side edges, provided with a projection and have a skirt including a curvature in contact with a frame body 1 are formed. After the fins 6 are attached to the outer periphery of the body 1 formed previously in a cylindrical shape, and the fins 6 are projection welded with a lower electrode 11 and an upper electrode 12 opposed to the electrode 11. |
