PURPOSE:To make it possible to bond together the layers of each of wound cores for a stator and a rotor without exerting any heat-influence on the wound cores by securing the layers by means of a heat-hardening adhesive. CONSTITUTION:In the process of being wound, a sheet metal forming a wound core 13 is uniformly sprayed on its inner side with a heat-hardening polyester adhesive by an adhesive sprayer 14 and then is dried to such an extent that the adhesive sprayed on the sheet metal is not completely hardened. The wound core 13 is rolled in while a high tension being applied to the wound core 13 and the bonding distance is made minute in order to obtain a high adhesive strength. Furthermore, the wound core 13 is heated up to a curing temperature of the adhesive, thus completely drying the wound core 13. Hence, it is possible for the end portions of the wound cores to be secured, whereby there is no distortion conventionally caused by a heat influence at the time of a welding. The time and labour required for the chamfering process after the formation of the wound cores are extremely decreased. |
