PURPOSE:To simply manufacture a frame for a motor and to improve the external appearance of the frame by integrally forming a plurality of fins with a metal plate, and spot welding it to a frame body. CONSTITUTION:Fins 12 are formed by bending and folding a metal plate 11 at several positions. Then, it is attached to the outer periphery of a frame body 13 which is previously formed in a cylindrical shape. Common electrodes 14, 15 are respectively disposed on the outer surface of the body 13 and the bent part 16 of the plate 11, pressurized and electrically energized to sequentially spot weld the bent part 16 between the fins 12 at every two rows. In this manner, a frame for a motor having heat sink films 12 is obtained. |
