PURPOSE:To relieve fusing and sticking of ash and to enable realization of long- term continuous operation, by a method wherein a flow rate of the air fed to a fire grate and the opening of a valve are periodically changed and adjusted. CONSTITUTION:Ducts 30-35 are respectively located below fire grates 6, 7, and 8 are provided with air amount regulating valves 30'-35', respectively. The air amount regulating valves 30'-35' are controlled according to the distributing ratio of a combustion air found by a computer, and this causes the air for combustion to be fed to each fire grate. When the distributing ratio of a combustion air to the dry fire grates 6 and 7, i.e., a dry air ratio (%) is set to 20-30%, the position of a main combustion point is moved to 29 from 29'. Meanwhile, in case incinerated ash is fused, such fusing is caused when a place, where the ash is placed, is held in a high temperature conditionfor a continuous given time, whereby periodical change in a dry air ratio enables prevention of a specified place from being continuously kept in a high-temperature condition. |
