PURPOSE:To reduce a frequent repetition of start and stoppage of a compressor so as to improve its durability by so constructing that once a motor for the compressor is stopped, it will not start for a certain period of time even if a command to start is output. CONSTITUTION:A timer 12 exclusive for starting has a time limit reverse contact point 12b that opens a circuit after a certain elapsed time from being electrified, and a timer 13 has a time limit contact point 13a that closes a circuit after a certain elapsed time which is set shorter than that for the timer 12. When a thermostat 6 is openend while in a cooling mode, a contact point 3a is opened to shut down a compressor 1, and at the same time, a normally closed point 3b is closed to electrify the timer 13, but a normally opened contact point 13a is opened for a certain duration. Even when the thermostat 6 is closed thereafter, since the time limit contact point 12b and the normally opened contact point 13a are both opened, the compressor remains to be stopped. The timer 13 closes its time limit contact 13a after a certain period of time from being electrified to energize a relay for the compressor to open its normally opened contact point 3a so as to start the compressor motor 1 and to close the normally closed contact point 3b. |
