PURPOSE:To improve the power factor without causing a distortion in an output current waveform by using the prescrebed maximum value as the output voltage of a converter when the converter reversely converts, and correcting the output voltage in response to a commutation superposing angle when the converter converts normally. CONSTITUTION:Converters 411 and 412, 421 and 422, 431 and 432 are connected in series with each other in U phase, V phase and W phase. When the converters are asymmetrically controlled, the normal and reverse convertions of the converters for applying the maximum output voltage age detected, while when the converters reversely convert, the prescribed maximum value is used as the output voltage. When the converters normally convert, the output voltage is corrected in response to the commutation superposing angle. |
