<p>Azolyl-propanenitriles are disclosed, of the formula <IMAGE> I in which R is an aromatic hydrocarbon or an aromatic hydrocarbon substituted one or more times, the same or differently by halogen, (C1-C4)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, cyano or nitro, R1 is C3-C8 cycloalkyl or C3-C8 cycloalkyl substituted by C1-C3 alkyl and Y is N or CH, and its acid addition salt with an inorganic or an organic acid, as well as processes for the production of these compounds and biocidal compositions containing the same. The compounds display fungicidal activity, growth-regulatory activity, and bactericidal activity.</p> |
