Under the normal photographing mode, a distance measuring zone is divided into a long distance zone Z1, intermediate distance zone Z2, and short distance zone Z3, basing on a distances L1, L2, and L3 as references. When the finder block 44 rotates, namely, a photoreceptor element 47 rotates and the photographing mode is switched to the close-up mode, the distance measuring zone becomes Z1, Z2, and Z3 basing on distances l1, l2, and l3 as references. Therefore, a large subject distance zone can be measured in terms of distance with a small-scale range finder.
