PURPOSE:To smoothen the input of an inverter to a DC voltage while increasing the efficiency by charging an auxiliary power source by a pulsating power source through a switching unit and complementing the low voltage period of the pulsating voltage by the auxiliary power source. CONSTITUTION:When a switching unit 4 is ON and a switching unit 5 is OFF, an inductor 8 and a capacitor 9 resonate. When the unit 4 becomes OFF and the unit 5 becomes ON, a capacitor 21 is charged by a high frequency current limited by an inductance 22 at the switched pulsating voltage. In other words, an auxiliary power source 20 is charged only when the unit 5 is ON. When the voltage value across the terminals of the power source 20 exceeds the pulsating voltage value, an inverter 3 is energized from the power source 20 through a circuit of the capacitor 21, the unit 4, the inductor 8, the capacitors 9,7, a diode 23 and the inductor 22. |
