PURPOSE:To obtain the regenerant for a photosensitive body which can be used for all kinds of photosensitive bodies by dispersing a pulverized hard particle having a prescribed mean particle size into a nonvolatile electrically insulated liquid at a prescribed rate. CONSTITUTION:The pulverized hard particle having 1-15mum mean particle size selected from ordinary abrasives used in general is mixed with a nonvolatile electrically insulated liquid, such as isoparaffin, etc., having >=150 deg.C boiling point at a rate of 0.5-5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the liquid, and the particles are dispersed into the liquid by means of a ball mill, supersonic dispersing device, etc. When a photosensitive body is regenerated, this regenerant is infiltrated into an elastic absorbing member and the member is pressure-contacted with the photosensitive body over its total width, and then, the photosensitive body is drived by running. After the regenerating operation is performed, the regenerant remaining on the surface of the photosensitive body is removed with a piece of cloth. This regenerant can be used for all kinds of photosensitive bodies. |
