PURPOSE:To shorten the rising time of temperature of a heat fixing device without increasing the capacity of an electric heater and changing the capacity and adjusting the conduction of the electric heater during operation by controlling prescribablly an electric heater and a blower which perform fixing treatment by heating with hot air. CONSTITUTION:The electric heater 30 of a heat fixing section 7 is conducted when a photosensitive paper detector 12 detects the forefront of a photosensitive paper. Thereafter, when a temperature detector 32 detects that the temperature exceeds a prescribed level or when the temperature detector 32 does not detects the temperature rise, but a carried-in detector 35 detects the arrival of the forefront of the photosensitive paper to the fixing section 7, a blower 31 is conducted and the photosensitive paper is subjected to heat fixing treatment. When a carried-out detector 36 detects the rear end of the photosensitive paper, conduction of the electric heater 30 and blower 31 is stopped. When such a constitution is used, the rising time of temperature of the heat fixing device can be shortened without increasing the capacity of the electric heater and changing the capacity and adjusting the conduction of the electric heater during the period of operation. |
