SOLUTION: In the remote operation system, at exchanging the state information of a device 120 to be operated and operation information inputted to an operation terminal 130 and operating the device 120 to be operated from the operation terminal 130, when the device 120 to be operated sets a communication connection to the operation terminal 130 and reports the state information of the device 120 to be operated, the operation terminal 130 displays the reported state information and immediately returns the reception response to the device 120 to be operated. Also, when the device 120 to be operated sets the communication connection to the operation terminal 130 and requests the operation information, the operation terminal 130 waits for the input of the operation for prescribed time, monitors successive operations in the case that the operation is generated and returns the operation information for which a plurality of the operations are gathered to the device 120 to be operated in the case that a plurality of the operations are generated.
