PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for punching an eyelet, capable of heightening the freedom of the pitch of the eyelet by miniaturizing a structure by which punching and caulking can be carried out continuously while keeping the accuracy and the speed-up caused by automation. SOLUTION: This apparatus for punching the eyelet has a driving body A for punching a through hole in a sheet 20 and caulking an upper and lower pair of eyelet metal fittings in the through hole, an upper feeder B for feeding the upper eyelet metal fitting to the driving body A, and a lower feeder C for feeding the lower eyelet metal fitting to the eyelet-placing body A. The driving body A comprises a punching plunger 2 having a punching part 23 for punching the through hole in the sheet 20, and a caulking plunger 1 having an eyelet male mold 22 for caulking the upper eyelet metal fitting in the through hole. The apparatus for punching the eyelet can continuously carry out the punching and the caulking by each of the plungers 1 and 2 by carrying out (1) the going movement of the punching plunger 2, (2) the returning movement of the punching plunger 2, (3) the going movement of the caulking plunger 1, and (4) the returning movement of the caulking plunger 1 in order.
