PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing maleimide-based copolymer which can be used for various applications including an electronics material, substrate material or the like since it has excellent heat resistance and thermal stability and it can achieve a low dielectric constant and it can be easily processed due to the excellent solubility to a solvent. SOLUTION: In the copolymer having a maleimide monomer structure and an olefin monomer structure as essential, the maleimide monomer structure is N-fluoroaryl maleimide monomer structure and/or N-fluoroalkylaryl maleimide monomer structure.
