PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of a picture memory and to attain miniaturization and low cost by storing only a required part to a picture memory in a picture storage device used for the check of picture quality. CONSTITUTION:A desired area A of a displayed still picture is designated and a picture signal of a desired area designated over plural frames is stored in a picture memory 17. Thus only the required part except unnecessary part of the picture is stored. |
