PURPOSE:To elongate the life of a polishing belt and remove securely burr by conveying a printed board spaced by a predetermined distance from the polishing belt above one rotary pulley with lead cut side being directed downward. CONSTITUTION:A polishing belt 9 having approximately equal width as a printed board 1 is trained over a pair of drive pulley 7 and driven pulley 8 and disposed below the moving printed board 1. The distance between the upper surface of the polishing belt rotating around the outer peripheral surface of the driven pulley 8 and the lower surface of the printed board 1 conveyed by a carrier is slightly smaller than the cut height of a lead 3 and the moving direction of the conveyer is opposite to that of the lead 3. The end face of the lead 3 is polished and attached burr is removed to provide dirt-like burr 4a sucked into a suction duct 10. Thus, the apparatus is simplified, the life of the polishing belt is elongated and further lead burr is securely removed without damaging patterns on the printed board. |
