PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of retaining an X-ray source and an X-ray detector at an appropriate interval apart while securing a working range of an examiner. SOLUTION: In this X-ray diagnostic apparatus, radiographing system is formed with an X-ray source irradiating the X-ray to a measurement object, an X-ray planar detector taking the X-ray picture of the measurement object from the X-ray transmitting the measurement object, and a support arm supporting the X-ray source and the X-ray planar detector oppositely to each other, and the radiographing system is overhungly supported by an overhung support member extending from a support point of the support arm. The support arm comprises a first support member extending into an arc shape and a second support member extending from one end of the first support member.
