SUPPRESSION OF GAS IN CRYOGENIC LIQUIDIZED GAS TANK

PURPOSE:To suppress gas production from the surface of liquidized gas in a storage tank by pressurizing a portion of liquidized gas in a storage tank then ejecting through the tip of a tapered tube into the liquid in said tank and agitating. CONSTITUTION:By means of a pump 3 having a liquid suction port, a portion of liquid in a storage tank is sucked and pressurized then extracted through a line 6 from the liquidized gas (L) section then a portion is passed throug a line 7 and led again into the liquid in the storage tank and ejected through the tip of a tapered tube 4. Consequently agitated flow will occur in the liquid and the heat fed through the side wall 22 is not transmitted to the surface of liquidized gas but dispersed entirely to the liquid in the tank. Consequently local heating of liquidized gas on the surface section is avoided.
