<p>NEW MATERIAL:A phosphoric diester shown by the formula, and its salt. USE:A preventive and remedy for cataract, and climacteric disorders, and an agent for cosmetic having beautifying action on the skin. PREPARATION:alpha-Tocopherol shown by the formula II is reacted with an esterifying agent of halophosphate (preferably phosphorus oxytrichloride, etc.) usually in a nonreactive solvent such as benzene, etc. in the presence of a deoxidizer such as pyridine, etc., to give a compound shown by the formula III. The compound is reacted with ascorbic acid whose OH at 5- and 6-positions are protected with protecting groups in the presence of a deoxidizer such as pyridine, etc. in a solvent such as THF, etc., and deprotected.</p> |
