摘要 PURPOSE:To execute seam test efficiently by controlling an ultrasonic probe opposed to the seam of a seamed pipe so as to be located on a prescribed position in accordance with the seam detection. CONSTITUTION:A seam detector 3 is located on the arriving direction of the seam pipe 2 from the ultrasonic probe 15 and held on the inside of the 1st and 2nd ring-like holding bodies 16, 17. A pipe 2 having a seam is passed through the 2nd holding body 17 partially having a gear-like teeth 18. Since the probe 15 is opposed to the seam 1, the probe 15 scans the seam 1. A control device 14 of the ultrasonic probe device rotates a motor in the forward and backward directions and controls the probe 15 so that the probe 15 scans the seam 1 in zigzag. Therefore, the seam test of the seamed pipe 2 transferred without rotation is continuously performed, so that the test is made efficient.
