PURPOSE:To integrate the whole apparatus compactly and facilitate maintenance by arranging an oscillation sensor, controller, driving motor, movable mass, etc. on a same base. CONSTITUTION:When a multistoried building, etc. are oscillated, an oscillation sensor 6 detects said oscillation and sends oscillation acceleration signals into a controller. Said controller integrates said oscillation and converts it to speed signals and then sends the electric current corresponding to said speed signals into a driving motor 8, which is revolved with a torque corresponding to the ocsillation speed. The oscillation is damped by shifting the nut 13 screwed with a ball screw 11 fitted with the driving motor 8 to the opposite direction to the oscillation direction, with a movable mass 3. Therefore, the whole apparatus can be integrated compactly, and maintenance is facilitated. |
