USE:Extremely useful as a polymerizable monomer for a coating compound having improved adhesivity free from void, adhesive free from internal strain, a component for a composite agent, casting material, etc. requiring dimensional accuracy. Since it has a bicycloorthoester group, it has low volume shrinkage caused by polymerization or curing. PREPARATION:An amino group-containing bicycloorthoester shown by the formula II is reacted with acrylic acid chloride or methacrylic acid chloride in a solvent such as dioxane, etc. in the presence of pyridine at about 0-100 deg.C, to give a compound shown by the formula I . |
