PURPOSE:To detect a leakage of a refrigerant at the beginning by taking out and detecting in gaseous state together with an air said refrigerant leaked into a cooling water from a cooling water exit of a water cooling condensor of flon refrigerating system. CONSTITUTION:In case a leakage hole is made at a condensor tube part, etc., since an inner pressure of the condenser tube is higher than that of the cooling water side the refrigerant is leaked into a cooling water side and mixed into said water. Said refrigerant flows into an air tank 8, ascends together with air as the bubbles, separated in gaseous state together with air by an air trap 7 and collected at an upper part of the tank 8, and a water level in the tank 8 is lowered. If the water level attains an under water level switch 12, a solenoid valve 15 is opened, and the gaseous refrigerant flows into a detecting trap 17 together with air in the tank 8, is detected by a flon refrigerant detecting sensor, and an alarm is generated by a detector 19. |
