PURPOSE:To execute efficiently a processing of a software instruction by executing a start of a processing by a microprogram, and starting a microprogram of a fixed address, when the end of the software instruction is detected. CONSTITUTION:A software instruction is stored in a main storage device 10, read out by an instruction read-out means 20 and stored in an instruction register 40. The software instruction in the instruction register 40 is decoded by a decoding means 50. In accordance with the software instruction, the head address of a microprogram of a control memory 80 is generated, and a start of the microprogram is executed. Said processing is executed by a pipeline control of a hardware. Each micro-instruction of the started microprogram is read out successively to a control register 90, and the processing is executed. When the software instruction is ended, the pipeline control of a hardware for reading out the software instruction to be executed in the next time is started.
