PURPOSE:To enable a battery lead terminal for pressing a spring upon the side surface of a battery to be used for plural batteries having different outer diameters and causing deflection of the terminal differing by 0.4mm. or more by preparing the terminal from a high carbon steel having a hardness within the range of Hv400-500. CONSTITUTION:A battery lead terminal is in the state represented by the symbol 1 before a battery 3 is attached and in the state represented by the symbol 1' after the battery 3 is attached. The symbol 1'' represents the state of the battery lead terminal after a battery 3' of large diameter is attached. A screw 2 is used to fix the terminal 1. The symbols (S1) and (S2) respectivey represent the degrees of deflections from the terminal 1 caused when the battery 3 of small diameter and the battery 3' of large diameter are attached. The terminal 1 is prepared from a high carbon steel having a hardness adjusted to within the range of Hv400-500. By the means mentioned above, such a battery lead terminal can be used for plural batteries having different outer diameters and causing deflections of the terminal differing by 0.4mm. or more. |
