PURPOSE:To form at a low cost a three-dimensional shape forming surface by converting a three-dimensional shape to a two-dimensional shape by many thin plates, and thereafter, combining them, when manufacturing a drawing press die having a forming surface of a three-dimensional shape. CONSTITUTION:A press die having a three-dimensional shape forming surface 1 is subdivided by many cutting-plane lines 2, and the shapes of the respective cutting-plane lines 2 are developed to many thin steel plates 3. Subsequently, these many thin steel plates are bisected to the upper and lower parts along the cutting-plane line 2, many upper side steel plates 4a, 4b-4n and many lower side steel plates 5a, 5b-5n are formed, and plural bolt inserting holes 6 are made on both of them, respectively. When these many upper side steel plates 4a-4n and lower side steel plates 5a-5n are collected in a lump in accordance with an order, a punch member 7 by the upper side steel plate and a die member 8 by the lower side steel plate are obtained, and a three-dimensional shape forming surface 9 is formed. When this surface is brought to a final polishing finish, a punch 18 and a die 19 having a three-dimensional shape surface 17 of a prescribed shape are obtained. |
