PURPOSE:To prevent crosstalk disturbance between recording tracks by using a disc on which a reference signal is recorded and controlling a time axis based on the reference signal so as to record a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A disc 1 having a spiral pit for tracking at recording is used and a reference signal is recorded in advance onto the spiral pit. A video signal V is applied to a horizontal synchronizing signal separating circuit 5, a vertical synchronizing signal separating circuit 5, and a variable delay circuit 9 from an input terminal 5. An output of the variable delay circuit 9 is frequency- modulated and amplified, then applied to a recording reading section 12. The recording reading section 12 makes a reading laser light incident onto the spiral pit on the disc 1 so as to read a recorded horizontal reference signal S'H and a vertical reference signal S'V. The rotation of the disc is controlled by using the signals and horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals FH and FV separated from the video signal. |
