PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying the operation of a jet pump and as well at enhancing the reliability thereof, by providing such an arrangement that a seat formed with an edge is depressed into a keeper to plastically deform the latter, thereby the turn-checking of the hold-down bolt of the jet pump may be made without welding the seat to the keeper. CONSTITUTION:A seat 19 formed with an edge 23 is attached to a beam 21 by means of bolts to be integrally assembled with a hold-down bolt 17. After assembling a new nozzle to a jet pump, a keeper 18 is depressed with the use of a keeper handling tool to plastically deform a part of its skirt section. With this arrangement the turn of the hold-down bolt 17 of the jet pump can be prevented without welding the seat 19 to the keeper 18. As a result, the process of the turn-checking may be made in a short time, and further, inspection and disassembling of the pump after assembling are simplified, thereby the efficiency of working and the reliability of the jet pump may be enhanced. |
