<p>PURPOSE:To improve air tightness of a scroll type compressor and remarkably reduce the manufacturing processes thereof by forming grooves on the lap faces of the scroll type compressor and lapping the faces each with plastics. CONSTITUTION:A stationary scroll 1 and a moable scroll 2 machined roughly are inserted in each other. The surfaces of the lap head parts 7 of each of the scrolls 1 and 2 are coated with resin capable of being shaped by the injection molding method and all the surface thereof other than said surface and the surface of each of mirror face parts 1a and 2a are coated wit engineer plastics having superior advantages of heat resistance, wear resistance and mechanical strength. As the method of suppressing deformation of the plastics coat face, a plurality of grooves 9 and 10 are formed on the plastics adherent parts of the scrolls to make a part of the plastics coat material embedded therein. This method will suppress deformation of the plastics between the grooves 9 and 10, resulting in higher precision of the coat face. Because of the reason, the airtightness may be improved and the manufacturing processes be reduced remarkably.</p> |
