PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a sequencer by storing once the control data into a memory without delivering this data outside until the execution is over with the sequence of a section and then delivering the control data successively through an exclusive AND circuit. CONSTITUTION:A sequencer 8 is provided with a data memory MR which stores temporarily the contents of a register of an ALU (arithmetic logical unit) in addition to an input part I, an output part O, an ALU and a program memory MC. When the sequence control is started, the ALU reads out the information on an SWSa and writes it to the O-th bit of areas Xa-Xc of the memory MR in the form of 1/0. Then the information on a contact Sb is read out to the register of the ALU and then written to said address together with the address information of a relay Xa. Then the contact information Sc is read out and written to the MR together with the information on a relay Xb. When the read/write operations are through with all contacts, the data are delivered successively from the memory MR via an output part O to execute instructions. Thus it is possible to simplify the operation of a sequencer. |
