PURPOSE:To enable a side window to be retained at any given open position by providing a guide groove which guides the side edge of the side window slidably, with a curvature different from that of the side window. CONSTITUTION:A side window 2 made of synthetic resin is formed into a circular arc form while it is curved toward the interior of a cabin 6 where the specified curvature is given to the vertical direction. Both a front and a rear edge of the side window 2 are supported slidably by guide grooves 10 of sashes 8 and 9 on a body side. The curvature of the middle portion of the guide groove 10 is made different from that of the side window 2. This configuration allows both sides of the side window 2 to be fitted elastically to the inner surface of the guide groove 10 with pressure permitting the side window 2 to be retained at any given open position with a frictional force provided. |
