PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition stable in air and resistant to aging, by dissolving vanadium acetylacetonate in an acidic alkyl phosphate. CONSTITUTION:A cure accelerator composition for a radically curable resin (e.g. unsaturated polyester resin) is prepared by adding vanadium acetylacetonate slowly to an acidic alkyl phosphate compound [preferably a mixture of the compound of formula I (R is 1-16C, preferably 2-4C alkyl) and the compound of formula II] under stirring, preferably at a temperature between room temperature and 100 deg.C.
