Device for remotely controlling a rear view mirror for a vehicle comprising at least two rotationally driven flexible couplings. It comprises a support member 2 fixed to an element 4 of the vehicle inside the latter, the said support 2 having two housings 5, 5a, in which there are rotationally mounted two pinions 6, 6a, longitudinally offset and rotationally integral with the two flexible transmission elements 1, 1a respectively, the said pinions 6, 6a meshing with a ring gear 13, 13a provided inside the two manoeuvring members 12, 12a mounted rotationally on the support member 2. The invention is used for vehicle rear view mirrors. <IMAGE>
