PURPOSE:To heighten the linearity of output pressure to the magnitude of a fed electrical current, by providing a recess and a protrusion on the facing surfaces of a magnetic substance core and a plunger. CONSTITUTION:Since an air gap is present between a magnetic substance core 21 and a plunger 25, a magnetic attractive force is caused between the core and the plunger so that a force which corresponds to the magnitude of an electrical current fed and works so as to compress a spring 35 acts to the plunger 25 and a rod 24. A tapered annular groove 26 for heightening the linearity of output pressure and a tapered annular protrusion to be opposed to the groove are provided on the magnetic substance core 21 and the plunger 25, respectively. As a result, the plunger 25 or the rod 24 is moved rightward by a distance corresponding to the magnitude of the electrical current fed, so that the spring 35 is compressed. |
