<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish smooth departure and good acceleration by controlling a hydraulic control valve to open and close at a duty ratio corresponding to a gear ratio selected in a speed change gear. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a shift position detector 46 for detecting a gear shift position. An output from the detector 46 is input to an engine control circuit 42, and the engine control circuit 42 computes a duty ratio according to a signal from the detector 46. A duty control valve 38 is controlled to open and close by a driving current 118. In this arrangement, the rev count of an engine is increased at the time of selecting gear ratio except one speed reverse so as to prevent the engine from racing, and a clutch 10 is engaged at a suitable duty ratio corresponding to the gear ratio to accomplish smooth departure and good acceleration.</p> |
