PURPOSE:To improve the safety and reliability of the titled controller against noise by setting ''1'' in the unused region of an RAM at the initial time of supplying a current and to constantly check the content of said region. CONSTITUTION:When a flag is alotted to the RAM region within a microcomputer, and an operating signal from the operating circuit 4 continues for a predetermined period of time, the flag is reversed to ''1'' or ''0''. An input signal from the operating circuit and an output signal from an output terminal 9 are set to ''active LOW''. The content of the unused region of the RAM is set at ''1'' immediately after the resetting, and while in operation, the unused region is constantly checked. When even one position is set at ''0'', the region is returned to the reset state. Accordingly, if noise should infiltrate into the microcomputer, and the content of the RAM is broken, the RAM is reset to the initial state. Hence, it is possible to obtain a combustion controller exceedingly stable and reliable against noise. |
